Why this exists

Built for people who design with fabric, not just screens

Phulkari embroidery is built from small, repeated, mirrored motifs — the same underlying logic used in any seamless print pattern. Tana Bana encodes that logic into an algorithm, so a pattern that would take hours by hand in Illustrator or Photoshop can be generated, adjusted, and exported in seconds.

Every pattern is seed-based and symmetric, capped so no motif ever crosses a cell boundary — which means what you see in the preview tiles cleanly, edge to edge, with no visible seams.

Built by a freelance developer from Punjab, for designers, small textile brands, and anyone who wants a pattern that's never existed before.
